After my husband and I married in April 2001, we started searching for a doctor to perform a tubal reversal. I had two children prior to our marriage, but he did not have any of “his own”. We wanted at least “one” child together, so we did some research. We talked to a couple of doctors, but once we had our initial telephone consultation, we knew Dr. Levin was the one.
We flew to Kentucky from Orlando and had surgery at the end of June 2002. Everything with the surgery went according to plan. We stayed at the Jewish hospital and even called Dr. Levin in the middle of the night. I had some blood on my bandage and was a bit freaked out. My husband didn't want to call, but I insisted and Dr. Levin was nothing but his kind, and genuinely caring self! (He is a doctor like no other) The next morning, I was even welcomed into his office (to drain my bladder) since I could not go on my own (kind of embarrassing, but necessary). This is just something that happens to me as a result of the catheter. Both Dr. Levin and Venica were their happy, upbeat, wonderful selves and both reassured me that these things can happen and I shouldn't be embarrassed.
After the surgery we went home to Florida and tried to make a baby. I got pregnant about 7 months after my surgery and had a beautiful baby girl in Sept. 2003. Then when my baby, Kassandra, was just a few months old I found out I was pregnant again! This was quite a surprise. I was going to have a 14 month old and a newborn at the same time!! Brandee Ann was born on November 25, 2004.
With both pregnancies Dr. Levin monitored my hormone levels and checked in with me regularly. He and Venica were always there to make sure everything was good before sending me off to my regular OB doc. Both pregnancies were normal and both babies healthy.
I couldn't imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't found Dr. Levin. And, I couldn't recommend him more!!
